We believe there’s nothing more powerful than churches working together to transform lives and communities.
How Love INC of Clay County Helps Families in Need:
  • The foundation of Love INC of Clay County is its Clearinghouse, which maintains information on resources available throughout the Kansas City Area for people in need.
  • Love INC also provides emergency financial assistance to individuals and families facing eviction from their home or the shut-off of their utilities.
  • Love INC partners with Happy Bottoms to provide diapers and other baby needs from birth to age four.
  • Love INC stays connected with families through its monthly care plan ministry.  The Care Plan is a promise to families receiving financial assistance that we will stay in touch by providing six months of ongoing personal care and household cleaning items.
  • One of the Core Values of Love INC is prayer.  As a way of living out that value, Love INC has a network of friends that provide prayer support for clients, volunteers, staff, and churches.

Love INC of Clay County has been serving families in need since 1990.  It is a place where people in need can connect with people who care.

Without Love INC

Churches serve their communities in different ways. One area may have a financial literacy program, while another has housing assistance. Yet, when care is not coordinated, needs can be overlooked or duplicated, and people are not served in a holistic manner.

With Love INC

Love INC fosters collaboration and organizes holistic care to help churches serve their neighbors through resources and relationships. By networking churches together, each church is able to lean into their strengths, knowing that their neighbors will be cared for by the body of Christ within their community.

Our Partner Churches

Christian churches from across at least six denominations partner together to form a Love INC. Within these partnerships, Love INC serves as the scaffolding upon which greater growth is possible. However, it is the Christians in these churches who model Christ’s love and answer God’s call to serve. Working together as the body of Christ, we can best love and serve our community.
